Answers for the questions parents actually ask.

The home page stays simple. This page covers what Luchi is, how a parent stays in charge, which AI she runs on, what it costs and where it runs.

What is Luchi?

Luchi is a voice-first family AI for kids. Luchi, the fox, is the one character: each kid talks to her on the family’s iPhone, iPad or Mac to plan their day, get homework help as hints instead of answers, talk things through, or build a game or story. Parents set up the family and see how it went in the same app.

Is Luchi safe for my child?

Nothing is available to a child until a parent signs up and completes a real card payment for the first week ($5). COPPA accepts this as a way to verify a parent: the Rule allows a parent to use a credit or debit card in connection with a transaction, on a payment system that notifies the account holder of each charge. Kids sign in with a PIN. What a child says and what Luchi replies are both checked by safety rules, Luchi’s AI cannot browse the open web for kids, and parents can review safety events, export a child’s information, or delete it, in the app.

What ages is Luchi for?

Luchi is built for kids. Her words, hints and the things she helps build adapt to each child’s age. Parents have their own Luchi in the same family account.

How is Luchi different from letting my kid use ChatGPT?

General chatbots are built for adults and set a minimum age of 13. Luchi is built for kids and runs by your rules: she never gives the homework answer, she shows the why in small steps on the board, she keeps the family’s routines, and she tells a child what their parent can see. You see what your kid chooses to share and short updates in their own words, not their private chats.

Which AI does Luchi use, and what happens to my child’s words?

In the app, Luchi’s replies come from Anthropic’s Claude and her voice from Inworld, under business terms that do not allow training on what we send. We never sell children’s information or use it to train AI, there are no ads, and in the app a child’s chat is deleted after a year. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Does Luchi keep recordings of my child’s voice?

No. When your child talks to Luchi, the speech recognizer built into your device turns it into text, and we never receive or keep the audio. Only the words are kept, like a typed message, and in the app a child’s chat is deleted after a year. On iPhone, iPad and Mac that happens on the device itself; if a language isn’t installed there, Apple’s own speech service does it, under Apple’s privacy terms.

What does Luchi cost, and what devices does it run on?

One plan for the whole family, Luchi Family: $5 for your first 7 days, then $99/month, or $49/month at the founding price while that offer lasts, which you keep for as long as you stay subscribed. Cancel before the 7 days end and you are not charged the monthly price. Luchi runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows.
