Luchi is a voice-first family helper that takes over the daily follow-through. It tells each kid what’s next in their day, helps with schoolwork through hints and questions, never the answer, reminds them about routines and activities, and lets parents see what got done without reading their kids’ private chats. Kids can turn their ideas into games too, and Luchi builds them right alongside. Luchi Family is opening a few families at a time: get on the list; founding families pay $49/month (regularly $99/month). Your first 7 days, for $5, start when you are invited.
Your kid does it. You see it.
A voice guide that helps your kid finish homework and routines. No reminding all evening.
- Talks out loud
- Phone, tablet or computer
- No new device

Your kid asks · Luchi shows the why · You see it
Lucas asks Luchi out loud how to add 1/2 and 1/4; Luchi shows why on the board without giving the answer, Lucas solves it, and your phone gets one calm note.
“How do I add 1/2 and 1/4?” A half piece is bigger than a fourth. Can we count them together yet?
Lucas finished math on his own. Nothing for you to do tonight.
How it works
- Your kid asks: Out loud, like asking a person.
- Luchi shows the why: A picture and a hint. Never just the answer.
- You see it: One short note on your phone. Not ten.
A normal Tuesday with Luchi
Tap through the afternoon.
- 3:18 · Luchi → Lucas: Soccer’s at 5:30. Math first, or your volcano poster? (Your kid picks the order. Luchi holds them to it.)
- 3:41 · Lucas, out loud: “How do I add 1/2 and 1/4?” (Luchi shows the why with a picture. He does the thinking.)
- 4:16 · Luchi → Lucas: Math’s done! The poster can wait. Soccer bag next: cleats, water bottle, jersey. (Done, then straight on to the next thing.)
Your note: Lucas finished math and packed for soccer. Fractions were tricky at first; he got the last two without help. Nothing you need to do.

You stay in charge
What Luchi does when the afternoon doesn’t go to plan. Tap a card to read more.
Won’t start: Luchi asks twice. Then it’s your call.
Luchi asks once, then once more. After that you get one note, and a skipped must-do waits for you to mark done or let go.
Frustrated: A smaller step, never the answer.
Luchi tries a smaller step or a new picture. If your kid wants to stop, that’s fine, and the weekly note shows you what felt hard. If they say they’re very sad or upset, Luchi tells them to come to you.
Needs you: Something serious? Luchi sends them to you.
If a kid is hurt or in danger, Luchi is designed to stop, send them to you, and alert your phone right away. Everyday “I hate math” isn’t treated as serious.
Busy day: Kids can move tasks. Only you can skip them.
Kids can move a must-do to another time, but not remove it. Only you can let it go or give a day off.
Every week, see your kid grow more independent
One short note per kid. Written from what really happened.
Want more? Just ask Luchi: “Why is math frustrating Lucas lately?”
Lucas’s week · Oct 5 – 11
- 12 tasks done, no reminder
- 4 of 5 days he planned himself
- Growing: Picked the order every day, and added his own poster idea.
- Learning: Fractions: needed hints Monday, solo by Thursday.
- Watch: Piano felt hard twice. Shorter versions are coming.
- Together: Ask Lucas to show you his volcano poster.
Private by design. Run by parents.
- Your family’s own space, kept apart from every other family.
- Nothing for a kid until a parent says yes.
- No ads in Luchi. We never sell kids’ data or use it to train AI.
- We never keep recordings of your kid’s voice. Speech is turned into text, and only the words are saved.
- Remove a child’s profile or your family’s account anytime.
Why Luchi exists
“I didn’t want AI to just give my son the answer. I wanted it to help him think it through.”
A note from Wen
I built Luchi because evenings at home kept turning into the same questions:
- “Did you do this?”
- “Did you finish that?”
- “Do you actually understand it?”
When my son asked for help, I didn’t want AI to hand him the answer. I’d long dreamed of a patient guide that helps him think and adapts to how he learns. Before Luchi, I led data science teams at Walmart Global Tech, so I started building one for our family.
We’re opening Luchi to a few families at a time, and every message is read by a real person.
Built with my son, for our family. I hope it brings yours a little more peace, too.
